i dont like the online as much as i liked COD4's, you die way to quickly- seems like skill doesn't even matter anymore......

but the campaign was awesome, a lot of sick moments.

You don't notice you were screwed being killed or killing somebody without the killcam?   I can tell you right now it takes more shots for me to kill somebody then for them to kill me and i use stopping power and aim right where they are.  I can empty whole clips at people and land like two hits,  i turn a corner for a split second and i'm dead from some guy who was full out shooting from the other side of the map. 

Try using the riot shild and having people knife you through it, or get around it and somehow kill you when you are looking at them head on.

I blame Chris Crocker for this.  Ever since his rant, now people think going off unhinged on camera is a cool thing to do.  Anyone want to post the remote up the arse video?

Is anyone here good with the in-depth specifics of gun stats?

I've always wondered how much of a difference in damage do silencers/stopping power provide.


So far, I'm really liking the game. Like CoD5, it has it's problems but it's still fun. As for the shitty storyline, I couldn't care less - I'd buy the game if there was no campaign at all.

Silencer only effects the range which effects the damage of the gun in long range. Stopping power I think it's about +%40 to the gun damage which usually means one less bullet to kill someone.

Yesterday I finally finished the game (turns out I wasn't at the last level it was the one before the last) and this last two level were you play as Soup are really bad ass where the fuck was this level design and gameplay scripting in the previous of the shitty Acts ?

The Moment where Soup has to pull a Knife out of his chest was really engaging and well made, far better and had more effect than say the microwave corridor in MGS4, but the story is still shitty :l

I finally hit level 30 as well in the MP and HOLY SHIT at the stinger missile !! Took down a Harrier in one shot

What modes do you guys play ? I usually go TDM and Domination gonna try a little SnD once I pro Cold Blooded and Ninja.

You have to wonder who was the bright spark who decided you had to be a Sgt just to play S+D. Anyway had some fun playing over the weekend.

Of course I do wonder how effective you load would be if the matchmaking aspect of it worked well. You should end up playing on a server full of Ninja's and Ghosts.

While it's a nice moment (it's one big bs, I can see how I can hit someone in the eye with something that just got pulled out of my arse... wait stomach) the Microwave corridor in MGS is so much better made. Also how can cpt. Pierce (the most badass character in the game, SAS vet) keep losing in 1v1 against "behind the desk motherfucker" Shephard?

It's not like either one is a work of art or anything and I'm not gonna write a letter to my newspaper about it, but I just found it more engaging and well presented than the MGS4 which I never really understood the raving about it was so shallow and fake to me (the Fist fight however was awesome :D).

I'm almost there myself.  I'm such a stealth person.  Who cares if it takes me a few extra bullets, I prefer to never be heard or appear on raidar or enemy sentry/airborne units.
