MGS4 won the last round by a hair against Uncharted DF.

This showdown has been inactive for a while, I was a bit busy with exams, but now I wanna bring it back. There are just so many good looking games out there and comparing them is really fun for us graphics whores!

Round 8 is between two games that are not only considered the best looking PS3 games, but also the best looking console games this generation.

Uncharted 2 is a game that uses colours, effects, brilliant environments and fantastic character models to create a game that looks almost like a movie!

Killzone 2 on the other hand uses an extremely powerful engine that can handle dozens of explosions, enemies, gunfire at the same time and still maintain a solid framerate. The game also has some of the best lighting that we have ever seen!

Uncharted 2. Killzone 2 has better lighting and a much "smoother" look to it, but Uncharted 2 has better environments and character models.

Environment looks better and is much more varied (therefore required more work getting each individual location perfect), plus the character models are amazing compared to Killzone 2.

Nepal and every scene involving a train looked extraordinary. As good as Killzone 2 looks, Uncharted 2 is simply on another level as a whole.

While killzone 2 looks damn good it just can't match the insane amount of detail that uncharted 2 has.

Uncharted 2 is overall the best looking game I have played so far. Lots of highly detailed and varied environments, both games sport very smooth character animations.

Killzone 2 sports amazing graphics for a FPS, for example compared to the much hailed Crysis it sports much better atmospheric lighting and impressive and varied death animations (IMO two of the most critical overall aspects regarding FPS graphics). Can't wait to see what they will be able to achieve with Killzone 3!

Killzone 2. Only game I've ever played where I've felt like I'm playing a CGI video.

Uncharted 2 is pretty damn amazing too, though. Gotta love the environments in it.

so tuff, but overall i would say Killzone 2.

Uncharted 2 for overall imo. Killzone 2 is possibly technically the more impressive though but lacks variety.
