Here's my idea:

First off, get the PS3 version finished and released...

PSN download, just like any other game. Whether it goes to the network or game section? Don't know. Don't give a damn. Would prefer it to just go to my game's menu so I can put it in my PSN folder though.

Keep the game free like on pc. That alone would give alot of people a reason to try it. The PC version get's revenue from ads and micro-transactions. Don't see why it wouldn't work on PS3.

Most importantly: Full integration with the Friends menu. Make sending messages, voice calling, meeting up with friends etc. AS EASY AND SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE. Would also be nice if we could get some in-game custom soundtrack support for this

If they can do this, the game will do just fine.

That's what we've been told so from the beginning and so far.

Wasn't the PS3 version supposed to be released in Q3? Where the hell is it? Canned?

It's been delayed til 2010. I don't really know what's preventing them from releasing it. Other than the PS3 install base wasn't big enough to support a free to play mmo.

That and the system didn't really start getting "family friendly" til late last year and recently.

What is Free Realms? I have never even heard of it until now.

It's a free to play MMO from Sony Online Entertainment on PC. There is a PS3 version in the works, but has yet to really come to fruition.

Just an MMO?  What kind of game is it like, or is it closer to what Home is?

It's part Home. Part WoW and part disney kids.

I hope they do make this. I only really got to play the PC version for a few days before I got a new laptop. Never got around to downloading it again, but it was pretty fun.
