The airport level really didn't bother me much at all.  I actually just went with the flow and mowed down plenty of civilians myself.  However, the level that is really sticking with me so far is the one in Virginia after the air raid where you are fighting through the suburbs and around the restaurants.  It was hauntingly realistic and felt much more plausible.

Me neither, it had a good ending to that level as well.

I found sticking the knife in an unsuspecting soldiers heart, keeping my hand firmly on his mouth to stop him screaming and staring into his panicked face while he died was one of the most disturbing things I've done in a video game.

Death in video games is seldom up close and personal like that.

It was the most disturbing since you can see the injured trying to crawl away, laying there dying... Then the entire terminal getting mowed down. And it looked damn realistic, too.

But the thing is you weren't forced to kill anybody, you could have gone through that part without killing any civies. You had to kill the spetznatz force though.

The virginia levels actually made me want to kill the invading bastards more, and it was a cool setting. I actually felt good about clearing the bastards out of those houses (partly because that was a difficult part for me) then defending burger town.
