I am comparing the FIRST Pokemon Game of this gen to the FIRST of last gen

Diamond/Pearl VS Ruby/Saphire

This gen's first pokemon game has done better than last gens

so you can't say in any way that the Pokemon franchise is "IN" decline AS its broken the decline

That is logic

 

Pokemon declined for two generations (from game boy to game boy colour (Red/blue to gold/silver) & then again from game boy colour to game boy advance (silver/gold to ruby/saphire)

but this gen its broken the decline, so its not "in" decline

Duh, whatever. Point is - Pokemon is not nearly as popular as it was ten years ago. The whole jRPG genre has declined, it is wrong when people claim that it is only Final Fantasy franchise that has lost popularity.

Well you claimed it was "IN" decline, which I have proven it isn;t

anyway FF really hasn't lost much popularity, it los popularity when FF8 sales declined from FF7

after that FF10 has sold more than FF8 & FF12 has managed to sell more than FF9

FF7, FF10, FF8, FF12, FF9 (thats the order of sales, from highest to lowest...only counting post FF7)

PS1, PS2, PS1, PS2, PS1 (order of platforms they were on)

Now tell me has it lost its popularity after the decline faced from FF7 to FF8....no it really hasn't....they are over-exaggerated claims

Anyway, I really can't wait to see FFXIII's sales numbers in both Japan and the West. It will answer a lot of questions about the future of the FF series and jRPG genre.

when really after the decline from FF7 to FF8....its not declined at all

Sales numbers show this.....

FF fans are the worst poison for the series itself, no fans of a series ever put down their series like FF fans do

anyways I'm going to sleep now & FF13 will sell FF10 to FF7 level numbers, you can count on that
