EU sales have been:

Week 1: 30,823
Week 2: 33,113
Week 3: 34,154
Week 4: 35,851
Week 5: 32,353
Week 6: 38,729
Week 7: 47,459

Solid and consistent sales so far.. and no NA or JP release yet. I expect even more with the coming weeks. I don't get why people are claiming this is a flop, since it seems like a pretty solid hit to me, and more importantly, it's moving a lot of Playstation Eye cameras.. which will become important when the Sony motion control releases.

to support your point :

I have seen Eyepet 2 times in the 8h p.m. NEWS on the main channel here in France

it is not Wii but it is more casual that any other HD title that are NEVER on the main channel NEWS

too bad Sony forgot to release it on NA or to generate more hype !

Time to Work !

It was featured on a morning show here in Australia as part of a Xmas gift guide and they said alot of kids will be getting this under their tree this year along with the PS3... went on to say how the price is lower etc.

what the hell are you guys on? lol 30k - 40k a week? wow to make a significant splash in the market look at what the wii has done. Blinded just blinded motion controls do work but only if the controls are made as part of the console from scratch. Both this and Natal will sell ok but nothing mind blowing due to this one fact

Eyepet is something gaming parents buy for their children which means they can enjoy gaming with little children without spending on the Wii.

And biggest jump will come once that PS3 eye is used for motion tracking.

Forgot? :p I thought they purposely postponed it? Probably to have it team up with the motion control

Thats an interesting point of view. So they released in europe just to check if it can be launch title with some buzz already surrounding it. But there is a lot of difference between the taste of american gaming n european gaming. So i m not sure if the success in europe is any indication of success in America. But definitely it is showing Nintendo game like legs.

They've already stated that it would come in Spring in the US. I doubt they would merely postpone for the sake of postponing though. Adding bits and pieces maybe, or preparing it for a specific launch is my best guess

i think they'll reserve the NA launch to bundle with the motion controller. i guess they released it in EU earlier so that some buzz would build up.

It's a game that comes with a complex piece of hardware, in order to make economic use of such production, it makes sense to release them at different times for different regions.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
