nope get MW2 better single player, online and pec ops imo
If you're asking for the multiplayer on the PS3 version, then MW2 hands down. Only reason to get MW1 on PS3 now is if you want to first complete the SP. But since you rented it, of course you should get MW2.

I heard the storyline in MW2 is way better than MW1. The online definitely improved. So go with the #1 game out right now!, Modern Warfare 2!

I thought the single player of MW2 was more memorable then COD4. Get mw2..it has more content for your buck.
