Seriously some devs would've been better off going up against MW2 than releasing in March... But notably, I'd imagine Bioshock and Splinter Cell's target audience overlaps pretty heavily with MW2's audiene, so they would've probably gotten slaughtered.

 

Here's a though... maybe MW2 only sold 7 mil b/c everyone else got delayed?

I think From now until Q2 of 2010 will be the Golden Age of this gen, no doupt. Also I think SMG 2 is coming out on the Wii in that time period.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

OP: I'm kinda glad, usually there's just crap coming out in the first quarter and all the juict stuff comes out around fall and near the holidays.
But I am going to be destitute for quite some time come January and onwards!

Aye! It's the largest and has the most players I have ever seen in FPS (well planetside...but it has some lag problems) and it is also the LESS laggiest FPS I have ever played so far. Zipper sure has some top-notch programmers. the server architecture they have in MAG works amazingly well.

 

Next year has a great amount of games coming that I'm gonna get, this is just great especially since all the games I want are also coming to systems I have to play them. PC/PS3
