Forums - Microsoft - Xbox Live Breaks Records

Today, Xbox Live had a record breaking day.  Two million people were connected to Xbox Live service at one time today.  I’m sure a lot of those people were playing Modern Warfare 2, but that is still impressive.  Imagine cramming all two million of those people into a small room to play Xbox?

The announcement was made by Major Nelson through a tweet

"We just hit a new #XboxLIVE record: Over TWO MILLION people connected to the service at once."

Congrats to the guys at MS for that achievement.  Let me turn on my xbox to add to those 2 million.

Amazing that the 360 is able to pull that off considering its a pay service.

Normal people can afford the pennies a day it costs, instead of just using it as vicious rhetoric against the system.

Pennies a day are the reason why we're having a global economic crisis, people think they can afford it when they really can't, because it all adds up.

Are you saying he posted the source, or me?  Because Major Nelson's Tweet was the source, and I posted that and linked to it.
