3-5 ain't bad considering that his ranking where you are in the game owuld be based almost solely on his speech in Dalmasca.

In reality i just don't hold Final Fantasy Villians in general high regard.

They're mostly traditional type villians who seem to have no point but being evil, or there reason for being evil is completly tenuous.

Final Fantasy does a lot of things right... but when it comes to the villains... they usually botch it up.

Kefka's pretty plain, sure, but he's effective, and I think that's all that can really be asked of him. He's a bit like Richard III, you know?

Golbez is quality, though.

And when you're done - if that ever happens - I think you'll be willing to look at Vayne and Gabranth and Venat (maybe even Cid) with a hearty dose of respect, or even admiration.

eh.... Kuja destroys everyone in looking the most badass!

His man thong will milt your face

Thong? I thought it was a jock strap...

i call those manthongs

His theme is bad ass, even if he wears a man thong/jock strap.

thats another thing to, sephiroth has the best theme song in the FF series character wise, though once i heard Kuja's in dissidia, his is neat to.

as far as sephiroth in dissidia goes, i took the time to learn and use all characters except that short kid cause i dislike him.

kefka is slow and he misses a hell of alot in dissida, but i gotta say when he goes EX hes a BEAST of a character on par with sephiroth, overall though sephiroth is faster, and much more on target then almost any other character...

well said soriku.

Means nothing when comparing each villain in their respective games.

As for boss music, Kefka had a great theme as well.

You know One Winged Angel isn't his theme song, right? This is:

OWA only became his "theme song" after FFVII.

Kefka

He's not emo, he does it with style, he has fun while doing it.

This doesn't do it justice. Dancing Mad is the best battle theme in the history of the series, so huge and expansive that it beggars the imagination to think that it fit on an SNES cartridge at all. It's emotionally exhausting just to listen to, taking one on a journey that fits the stages of that final battle better than any other song that Uematsu ever wrote. For my money it was his crowning jewel in terms of combat themes. It has not been matched since.

yeah i know, i liked it alot, really awesome for its time, but still...

Also, Kefka was so bad ass that he essentially became the God of Magic and when you killed him magic ceased to exist, that included the Espers. They died along with Kefka.

How is that for bad ass?
