Forums - Gaming - Kefka vs. Sephiroth

I like Sephiroth because of his looks.

My rankings of FF villains would roughly go line this.

1) Kefka
2) Lucavi Demons
3)Golbaz/Zemus
4) Exdeath
5) Xade
6) Dark King
7) Sephiroth
8) Chaos.

really?...I thought Exdeath was pretty lame and generic..hes way too high on ur list

hes a tree.....

thats badass.

Offtopic , i seriously thought Square wanted to do something like Mother / Earth bound were the final boss is something you wont expect to be "Evil"

LOL fair enough

It's the very presence of sephiroth that makes him a far more better villan then kefka will ever be, as i played VI recently, i didn't get the "oh noez, its that guy thats, really, really strong and evil! run!" the clown was just an irritating nut-case if that, though it matched the game in its own right so it fit.

when ever you hear the name "Sephiroth" in anything almost everyone already goes "omfg" for the bad or for the good, you know hell is gonna come in the form of the one winged angel.

basiclly speaking, sephiroth has that vibe about him that kefka lacks.

Oh come on Vayne should be on there somewhere, he exists

I only included Final Fantasy games i've beaten.

Whenever i get into a FFXII fix i always end up off subject grinding liscense points until I lose interest... and then when i go back i start over.

It's my fatal flaw with RPGs.  If I go a week without playing it I need to start from the begining.

From what i know of Vayne i'd probably put him somewhere in the 3-5 range.

everytime i see Sephiroth its " OMG not agaaaaaain"

I am actually going to go with Sephiroth on this one (OH NOES) and my reasoning for that is because of the aura of mystery surrounding him at the begining, the power he wields (kitase has stated that in the FFVII universe that Sephiroth is the most powerfull being, there is nothing above him) and he's more intimidating, well at least he is to me. Don't get me wrong Kefka is a very good villian for all the reasons mentioned above me.

dude..lol...hellooooooooo..cloud beat him man to man...wats that tell u?

well...you know what...cloud cheated. I don't know, I knew I didn't explain myself very well, maybe if someone knew what I was trying to say they could explain it for me

Kefka. He's murderous evil defined. Killing nations, raping the world, building a freaking isolated tower, gathering fanatics, killing for the lulz...

It's just that simple.

Two of my favorite villains but I'm going with Sephiroth. He seemed like he actually had a reason to be crazy.

Fuck reasons. A villain has to be evil from the root. Kefka sure as hell is.
