It sounds like the aggregation of all the various aspects of the game made it seem aimed at kids. Visuals, gameplay, humor, etc. Seems reasonable to me.

What does he want? The opposite of that is convoluted gameplay and ugly brown visuals...

And since when was "arcade" a derogatory term for video games? I thought the whole point was to bring the fun of the arcade into your living room? Especially when it's a physical game like riding a snowboard, which you would normally do in an arcade for $1 or $2 a turn, and now you can do at home.

Ah, I interpreted simple as in a easy to play/get through. I didn't think it meant easy controls.
