Polish distributor of Activision has released following data:
MW2 will have biggest marketing budget in history of video gaming in Poland (1M PLN = 220k euro)
first day sales of MW2 (estimates):
23k PC, 3,8k PS3, 2,5k X360 = 29,300 total
Life to date sales of previous Cod games:
CoD 1 with expansion = over 120k
CoD 2 = over 70k
Cod 3 = 13k (consoles only)
Cod 4 = over 120k
Cod 5 = over 60k
No data for previous versions split between platforms but probably they are even more in favour of PC than MW2.
