FFVI or FFVII since I didn't had the opportunity of playing them when they came out.

The only Final Fantasy game I'd really like to see remade is FFVI. But frankly, it doesn't need to be. It was fine on the system it was on. My favorite is FFVIII, but it was also fine in the state it was in.
FFVII probably is one of the few FF games that could use a remake, but the problem is, its already got so many sequels, prequels and etc, it doesn't need a remake to take up more FF space. And the only way I'd want a remake for the game is if they fixed all the plot holes.
Personally, I'd like them to stop all the remakes of the FF series and work on some other series. If they HAVE to remake something, why don't they go back and remake Chrono Cross? A gamethey admit was only 3/4 complete due to being made at the same time as FFVIII and Xenogears.
