I haven't said anything regarding Big Rigs. MW2 PC can still be epic failure though.

Single-player is lackluster comapred to modern games, it's worse than the first MW.

Multi-player is just shitty, period, it's jsut crap and nearly unplayable.

 

What's your reason for scoring it highly?

I didn't make any judgment on the game itself simply because I haven't played it yet but people seems to love it overall.

It's possible that you don't like the game but that doesn't mean the game is bad. You have to look at the majority and it seems you're a minority.

 

The SP in MW was awesome and even though the SP in MW2 is not as good, I am sure it's still good enough.

Console players will like a pile of crap if it had a gun and could move and would claim it wasa the best thing ever to happen to video games.

I need actual reasons why the game DOESN'T suck. So far you have none.

Also good enough doesn't cut it, it has to be better or this game might as well not have released, what good is i to me if I had a better game years ago?

No I'm talking about back when they came out.

They deleted the reviews since then but both games had horrible user scores aroud their release because of the console war.

It happened to Halo Wars too.

That was before the release of the game. These scores are after the game released. So I don't see how the 2 points are related, honestly.

Console gamers have problem understanding the fact that MW2 PC version is crap? 10 year old games offer more than MW2.

This is madness.

Well just don't buy the game then. I don't see the problem...You are not obliged to buy it and you knew about no dedicated servers before the release of the game so they didn't lied.

I understand it must be frustrating but MW2 is a product and IW is offering you to buy it.

I'm sure things will get fixed anyway. IW can't ignore all this mess.

Issue is that all the PC gamers have been doing is bitch about games recently( Left4Dead 2, Starcraft 2, MW2, Rage).
If they were enthusiasts about some game that would give the publishers some hints that there is some hope in the future, but as it is all they are doing is complaining and just reinforcing development studios in the idea that focusing on consoles is the right idea ( and even ValVe gets this with Left4Dead).



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Epic failure is memorable, to the extent it becomes a joke of all-time jokes.  You have to get so many things wrong to reach this level.  To not reach this level of ineptitude, and then say a game is on it, is to undermine and DESTROY the meaning of epic failure.  Big Rigs goes down to that level.  MW2 does not.  If MW2 loads, and while not nearly is as good as the original, still can play, and large numbers get enjoyment out of it, it isn't at Big Rigs level at all.  Only enjoyment from Big Rigs is to revel in the suckitude it is, and to make a joke out of it.

What I am seeing here is a case of people who believe the WORLD has to have a collective opinion of where a game should be (MW2 should be 6) so to offset people who hold the game highly, so you end up saying the game is a 1 or 0 and hope others join in.  In the case here, venting over dedicated servers has MW2 at a level, on Metacritic, below that of Big Rigs.  And THAT is a problem.

I'm sure the game is not "crap" even though it offers less than other games.

i have checked out the special ops, and been playing the campaign and so far im at the end of act 2 , i really like the missions on this game, my only complaint and this goes for many games, i like playing coop with friends, im not a hugh online multiplayer on big matches yet , mostly because i get my butt kicked, being new and trying to learn what to do canbe hard with a bunch of great players, it seems like the campaign gets shorter and shorter, so i wish i could get atleast 15 hrs or campaigh, instead of 6-8 these days. other then that mw2 has been a lot of fun.
