Still love Strategy RPG's, Platformers and Arcade Racers.
Playing more Action Adventure titles, Beat-em-ups and Puzzle games.
Acquired a taste for party games, casual titles, and stylized M-rated titles.
Pixel Art can be fun.

Yes, this generation I said goodbye to jrpg's probably for good except for final fantasy. I think that this gen encourges alot more shooter love. I also pay attention to reviews, rather than going to the store looking at something that looks good and then ending up with crap.
I've definately started playing a wider variety of genres. I usually stuck to RPG's and sports game for the most part but I've gotten back into shooters, fighters and action/adventure games alot more.
Which is good, I like that I'm getting back into the genres I used to play alot back in PS1 days and not concentrating so much on a just a few.
I don't play as many Jet-Ski games this gen. Mostly because Nintendo hates me.
Yes.. I'd rather watch movies more now than play games. HD movies and true surround sound have spoiled me. Games that I can watch, like a movie, are more appealing than having lots of gameplay. This is where PS3 versions are better to me. The video and sound is better. When I say video, I mean movie clips in-game. If a PS3 game is movie intensive or it includes a bonus disc on Blu-ray, I'd buy it over a 360 version.
Netflix was the nail in the coffin. It made me realize how lazy I have become. Moving my fingers all of a sudden became a hassle. Porn being the exception...
Less JRpg's more WRPG's. More shooters aswell and way less platform games.
^^Lol at your comment on Live last night, Pbroy! I enjoy the classics!!
Haven't changed. With the JRPG draught on the home consoles some time ago I gave it a try, bought some more diverse games etc, etc, but so far I haven't even finished Uncharted and Heavenly Sword.
