I think that the people are blowing this way out of proportion ... and no i wasnt permabanned everytime i tried to log in with my temporary password it wouldnt let me do it

ya i dont believe them, i play on ps3 and 360, i have played lots of the same games to really see if there is a difference, most of the time the ps3 looks better to me, i have played mw2 on ps3 and 360 there is no difference, i play on a LG 46inch scarlett,  im running my ps3 at 1080p, on mw2 and it looks better then the 360 version, at 720p they look the same. ps3 exclusives are all a cut above the rest, uncharted 2 in brilliant.

whoever named that lens of truth is full of fail. don't put zelda and graphic whore comparers in the same sentence. we don't need that, it just taints the zelda name

Maybe you and CGI should make your own website and call it the Blu-Ray of truth. You know a heavily PS3 favorable site to counter this injustice....... :D

From what I have seen they are pretty spot on. But nothing is ever 100% all of the time.

The loading time thing was expected -- DVD does spin/read faster than the BD in PS3s, and MW2 has no install. There aren't that many loads in MW2, and the difference isn't that great, so it doesn't seem like a serious issue to me.

The issue I have with Lens of Truth is their screenshot comparisons. There's something wrong there. The game outputs the same RGB values on both systems, and those values are transmitted as-is across the wire, if the PS3 is set to full-range (which they claim it is).

I'd like to see them post some shots with their PS3 NOT set to full range, and see if there's a difference (which there should be, and a big one at that). I bet there won't be. I would wager their capture equipment is telling the PS3 it doesn't support the signal properly, and then the PS3 defaults the safety feature back on, and limits the range.

In other words, they're doing it wrong, which kinda puts the rest of their testing techniques into question as well.

well, you have to understand, that the "lens of truth" was only created because the differences barely exist, so in most cases they try to decide which version of the game is that 0.1% better than the other one

I sometimes wonder which articles people have read when i see thread titles like this because a i read through that whole comparison yet and my general impression was the both versions were very good with a slight edge going to the 360.

Having read the thread title though i thought i might have missed something so I went back to have a look again - "And even though the differences are minor, the Xbox 360 version is the definitive version to purchase."

And this is not the first time I have seen a thread like this in response to a LOT article. It seems like people focus on a sentence or two, get angry, don't bother to read the whole article and then jump to some conclusions.

I'm not saying Lens of Truth isn't full of it but I've yet to be convinced of it by any of their detractors on this site.

Your in a Sony stronghold, if everything isn't pro Sony people complain like someone shot their dog.  I too thought that the article pretty much said the 2 versions were very close so I don't see the problem.  The 360 is easier to program for and there are only so much time they could use to get this out.  So useually the easier to program for will naturally be a little better.  No biggie either way if you ask me.
