Pretty simple thread, I know the chances of this happening are as slim as the Nets winning the NBA championship, but just for the hell of it, how well do you think that major exclusives on these console sell if they were multiplatform. Feel free to add any other games that I don't mention.

On PS3

Gears 2: 3.0M

Halo 3: 5.5M

Mass Effect: 1.5M

L4D: 1.5M

Forza 2: 3.00M

Fable 2: 2.0M

On 360

MGS4: 3.0M

Uncharted DF: 2.7M

Killzone 2: 4.5M

Infamous: 1.5M

Resistance 2: 3.5M

LBP: 2.0M

Mass Effect, L4D, and LBP aren't exclusive...

It is on PSP

L4D and ME are console exclusives...

You'd have to take away some of the sales for the original platform then, but overall I guess sales would be higher. How much would probably depend on the game.

So, it would make more sense to name sales for both platforms instead of just one.

ummm you are seriously overrating killzaone 2 sales on xbox, dont think it would actually sell as much as it did on ps3. Not an xbox style game in my opinion, plays much differently a gears of war or halo for example.

FPS like Resistance & Killzone are games that have everything to be succesful on the 360... Games like Uncharted and Infamous can also be succesful on the 360 if the marketing is right... LittleBigPlanet and Metal Gear Solid??? not so much...

ON the other hand, Mass Effect, Forza & Fable are 3 games that have everything to be succesful on the PS3, Left4Dead & Gears, average (unless one of them pulls out a Call of Duty), Halo??? not so much...
