Just got back! It's 4:38, I'm sleepy MW2 will have to wait!

Just got mine from Sainsbury's this morning. They had no 360 copies left and the PS3 ones should be gone within a couple of hours. They sold 5 PS3 copies in the 2 minutes I was in the store! Kudos to Sully for posting the details.

I went to my sainsbury's at 9:30 and all the 360 copies was gone.
Most of the PS3 copies was still there.

I asked a guy if there and he said they was there at midnight even though it isn't open then. He said they was queuing up at opening and they went within minutes.
Went to Asda and all the 360 copies was gone with only a handful of PS3 versions left.

Popped into game and gamestation and they had all their copies on both formats still left.
What do you expect when you charge £44

Shame they don't do this for all new releases. I'd buy a lot more games first day that way, instead I had to go hunting for Tekken 6 at a good price and failed. £37 at Asda was the best I could find (got it for £31 instead after exchanging 2 old PS2 games).

Oh, not buying MW2 though, don't like FPSs whatever the price.

THANKS A BUNCH SULLY! I had this preordered on shopto for 42.99. My mum was about to go into work as i read this article and i asked her if she goes past a sainsburys, she said yes and so i got it for ps3 for 26 pounds! now i have to get my money back on the other one lol. This must be making either little or no money or be a loss leader surely! wohoo saved 17 pounds! thats huge!

100% sure they're losing money. ASDA lost money on FIFA 10 so MW2 is bound to.

Sainsburys were sold out just 2 hours in....Got it from Amazon.co.uk for £32 so still can't complain.

Amazon.co.uk = £32 for PS3 version and im guessing 360 is the same (Like always)
