Forums - Nintendo - Will VC and Wiiware get a price cut?

Hmm, I have one major problem with Virtual Console games, at least NES games. I don't understand why they have a scan-line filter, I don't want that. The way I see it is if I'm not playing on a ridiculously old TV why do I want to pretend like I am. There should be an option to turn it off.

Who sets the prices for the games -- particularly the VC games?
This is particularly true with respect to non-Nintendo games.

Mike from Morgantown

Nintendo decides all the prices of everything.

They should do sales, like Steam, or iTunes. Have $1 or $2 or $whatever games on sale every weekend. I'm sure it would move titles that are otherwise not selling.

I like this idea. Would be neat to see a new sale every week for a couple games.

I'd sell the first born child of any of you guys for most Nintendo published VC games, so I don't think they are too expensive, maybe some of the crappy games are, but I don't buy those anyways

People would just by the cream of the crop games, and not the other ones
