I'm glad to have a Wii, and i already had great times with all its best games... but i think this only a first step into gaming's future, and that there's a lot of potential further down the road, when it comes to the hardware, and to the games as well...

Simple example: where are the awesome WM+ games? 1st party, 3rd party? THIS is a shame...

And in fact, i think the shame is on the entire industry, for not showing any sign of real support for the actual market leader: back in 2006, i thought Wii was a perfect occasion for more creativity and originality in the gaming industry, and three years later, only the Nintendo games have done the job, as well as maybe a handful of 3rd party efforts: but that's not enough...

They had time, they have money, they saw the success and the potential, so where are the AAA games? That's the real shame, but Nintendo isn't the one to blame, as you said... maybe they could have released a more powerful hardware... maybe... but if PS2 was powerful enough for many incredible games, then there's no excuse to not be able to do even better, with graphics as well as with the controls and the gameplay...

Maybe things will change next gen, but till then, all we may do is support the best Wii games released, and support creativity the best we can...

I'm really happy with both DS and Wii.

My only complaint with the Wii is that I may have to send mine out for repair.
It is been played so much, I think I have worn out the disk drive.

Mine may need repairing soon so I can play dual layer discs.

I'm more than happy with my Wii, and the games on it. So are my housemates! We have all 3 consoles down here, and my Wii gets the most use-even though the 360/PS3 are used for DVD and movie viewing. We have great multiplayer games, and between my VC, WiiWare, Wii and GC titles, everybody has single player titles they enjoy using. The only problem is that they're sick of being beaten by me on Mario Kart, which steals much of our time.

Most of the games coming out that I want from now on also seem to be on my Wii. Next year is going to be great.

Wore my out last year with endless hours of that dual layer heroin known as Brawl.

And now it's starting to give some trouble again.  Weird though,  only two games won't play everything else works fine and there's nothing wrong with the disks that don't play as far as I can tell.    They work in other Wiis.

I'm happy with all my consoles, especially the Wii. The family that plays together, stays together... well most of the time.

The only thing Im ashamed of is that I spended around 1000$ with the wii...

other then that it is a super console ;)

I dont know why people say graphics are bad when gamecube graphics are good...

I dont know why people say there are no games for it which makes me wonder... (how many games do you have)

BUT I do know there just mad because their console isnt first place and has to moan about it...

and lets face it... The wii could have 200 good games and still be called trash...

Reason why? because the ignorant people we call fanboys :l
