I just sort of randomly thought of this. I think it would work out great though. You could have a section to search for games to look at sales, comment on it, game info. Another section for console sales in all of the regions. A third section for news, and a fourth section for the forums.

Honestly if they (the people of vgchartz) make an iphone app like this, I would pay 10 bucks for it if it was organized. It would be a great way to check up on news and answer forum questions on the go.

What do you guys think?

Well it isnt about the iPhone being a gaming platform or not.. or am i missing something? The question, or idea, was to make an App for the iPone/iPod to help you keep updated on whats new on VGC? Or am i wrong? Being game related or not isnt a factor. Thats how i read it.

OT: I like the idea but I'd prefer a simple mobile version of the website so it could be accessed from any phone with a web browser. There are many people without an iPhone/iTouch so Windows Mobile, Symbian and Android should all be supported too.

well vgchartz doesn't really do iDevice specific news.. And the site is easily viewable on safari.
