Forums - Gaming - Did anyone get the buy $199 Arcade, get $100 GC free deal at Wal-Mart?

I am just curious. They had the deal online, but it was sold out very quickly.

I called around the Wal-Marts in Houston - all of them I called are sold out.

My friend was there at the crack of dawn and got himself one.

Nope, Imma wait until they give them out for free. I'm convinced that's next month

What is the bet that they are doing this to placate the modders who have been banned?

Not to mention I have noticed that there are people selling these Xboxes on Craigslist already for $175 each in my area. Even put up a receipt from walmart in the ad showing the giftcard promo.

My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.

I would if it's available in Canada.

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

One-day sale, Roid. I have seen the GCs on eBay. It's insane.

I am going to sell my son's Premium and replace it with this one.

So what percent of these 360's do we think were bought for resale? 50%? 75%? 90%?

Who cares? A sell is a sell - and MS will tout it proudly. I do wonder how this will register with VG. I guess they'll adjust if WallyWorld releases some solid numbers.
