The most interesting numbers are the totals till september '07:

Wii:

13.170.000 hardware (Japan: 3.670.000 + Americas: 5.460.000 + Others: 4.040.000),

65.810.000 software (attach rate: 4.99)

Gamecube:

21.660.000 hardware, 207.740.000 software (attach rate: 9.59)

DS:

53.640.000 hardware (Japan: 19.710.000 + Americas: 16.060.000 + Others: 17.880.000),

259.480.000 software (attach rate: 4.83)

Gameboy Advance: 

80.480.000 hardware, 372.630.000 software (attach rate: 4.63)

Nice to notice these Wii and DS numbers are quite close to the vgchartz ones on front page...

And the attach rates i've added give us a few tips about Wii's success, in only less than a year time... 5 games sold for each console, even with Wii Sports and Wii Play included, is quite impressive... 

i know this is shipped and such, and the american and japan numbers might seem right. But what is strange about the Wii numbers, is that the other number is 4 million at the end of september? which would mean about 4.2-4.3 million shipped now..

740k~ sitting on shelves?

Yes, it's possible... down here in Belgium, the Wii is easily avalaible for a few months now: you may go to any shop, and there will be a nice number of Wii's on the shelves... they sell fast and easily, but we're far from a sold-out situation... it should be quite different from now till christmas, of course...

 i don't think our situation is that different to americas or japan really..
