Forums - Nintendo - Question about CoD: MW Reflex on the Wii

The only reasons developers omit local 2-4player multiplayer in their Wii FPS games are due to laziness - not because the Wii can't handle it.

Unless you have some proof that effort is the only thing required, and that reducing graphics and scale to make room is not a factor, that claim is just ignorant.

*Looks at TimeSplitters 2 on GameCube*

Seriously, why is it so difficult?

I will be buying reflex, I am less bothered about local MP as before, my dissapointment with FPS today is more in general than those on the Wii..... what happened to humour? Why if I want a recent FPS do I have to buy futuristic/warfare based games that are so serious (insert Joker picture here)

All I want is a new TimeSplitters type game.

If you really looked, you would notice the graphics are at a lower level than even a typical GC game.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

no it wont have Split screen, i don't have friends that plays games so i don't care much lol

No splitscreen, eh? Well, there's another Wii FPS I won't be getting. And people say Wii FPSs fail because theirs no audience for them. Bah, they fail because there's no splitscreen. It's no coincidnece the best selling Wii FPS is Red Steel.

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

Well it clearly wasn't enough for me to notice.

Are you saying TS2 had terrible multiplayer because it had lower level graphics? Because I bet not many will agree with you.

yeah its the same here...if it has splitscreen than it jumps to second place and will buy with trilogy on christmas but if it doesn't it breaks the deal and so no cod reflex for me and instead will get spirit tracks for ds with trilogy for christmas

What? Look at the comments I was responding to. Nothing I wrote claimed the multiplayer was bad. I only mentioned FITTING them in the limitations of a system.
