Forums - Gaming - Developer Says Xbox 360 3D Dot Game Heroes POSSIBLE!!

Wow, they didn't even make the bluray storage space excuse.

They chose to stick with the PS3 because obviously that's where it will sell best. God forbid Valve do the same with the 360.

yer right, the two situations are exactly parallel, in fact I remember when these developers were talking shit about the 360 and calling it a failure.  I'm surprised 360 fans aren't more mad about that.

Everyone wants to be like Nintendo

Uh.....what?

  Dot heroes copying Zelda

I happily disagree.

even the devs admit it, they call it homage, I call it copying, just shows they want to be like Nintendo

Not everyone wants to be like Nintendo. Believing such is pretty warped.

They are copying Nintendo, and they aren't the only ones, why do you think Sony and MS are releasing their own motion controllers

If you take a look at Sony's and Microsoft's top franchises, they are nothing like Nintendo's top franchises.

And they don't sell like Nintendo's top franchises, which is why they are moving more towards what Nintendo is doing

Aside from the Wii franchises and err Mario Kart (which is a spinoff, not a franchise), they do.

Actually only Halo, Modern Warfare and GTA have sold that well this gen

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Not irrelevant at all... it lets us have a background information into your mind set and thought process to understand why you might be saying such things here. I don't know about you but I'm seeing a pattern in your post history. Not irrelevant at all.

lol.  "Saying such things"?  Like what, that niche RPG localizers (and likely publishers for this game) like Atlus or NISA have commissioned multiplatform ports before?  That Silicon Studio's sudden change of tone regarding a 360 port is suspicious?  That poor PS3 performance doesn't really seem to impede the likelihood of 360 ports (UT3, VF5, etc)?  What "things" exactly am I saying that'd warrant not looking at said things themselves, but some broader insight (read: discredit) into my thought process?

I'm noticing a pattern now as well, you seem to always leap into this direction and away from the actual topic?  I wonder, why is that?

@CDiablo

The company that made this game, Silicon Studio, is a PS360 middleware company and the game was probably made on one of their many middleware engines.. I am sure that a port would be easy as pie for them, plus I doubt the game cost that much to develop to begin with.

Silicon Studio's already said as much to both.  3DGH already runs on 360 compliant tech, and the game was made by a tiny staff in a quick time.  Its actually only their 2nd game ever too.

I don't think there is enough demand for this game to port it unless it's really cheap and easy.

I think it's possible they could look into putting it onto XBL or something but that's wild speculation on my part.
