Forums - Nintendo - COD: MW: R in top 100 bestsellers at Amazon.com!

It's a massive booze up in a trendy, pretentious bar with a youthful seal tucked under your arm. It's all the rage with people like Paris Hiton I hear.

How sad is this? Wii owners need to feel happy that their version of CoD:MW gets to the top 100 in Amazon now? Well at least we have a version of MW, I guess that's counts for something.

I hope this fails, just like Activision wants it to fail.

talk about catch 22, if the game sells well, it's just further incentive for Activision and others to port games over, crap ports at that in order to make a quick buck....but on the other side, if the game doesn't sell then it's more proof that developers can use for not making games on the wii since they won't sell unless 1st party.

Fucked if you do, fucked if you don't...the real only solution is make this game bomb sales wise, and make a 3rd party core game sell gang busters....easier said than done when we as gamers have different buying standards than the typical casuals whom own the wii and currently out number the core wii owners..........Activision wins again it looks like.

And what makes you think this is a crappy port?

And rank 253 on Amazon France.

Good to see that...of course, there's always gamers on the wii...When games are good !

Really this means nothing...The Conduit was in top 75 for many days on AMazon, and it sold barely 300k in 4 months...surely this CoD will sell better (in the long run) but the opening might be smaller because of the bad marketing Activision had done.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

I know this isn't a big deal, considering it's Amazon.com. I just thought it was a bit surprising seeing that there really haven't been any hype or hope for the 2 year old port. I'm thinking that the leaked videos may have helped people decide whether or not to get it and if Activision had put out more screenshots and any videos at all this game would do well. Of course WaW did well over the long run and I hope this does well also especially seeing the videos. I think that MW:R looks better than WaW.
