I'm still really, really hyped for this game, but I was kind of dissapointed in the gameplay shown in the videos. After playing Uncharted 2, the combat just seems too slow, and clunky.

To put Uncharted up with this game is an insult to the grandure of what is Mass Effect. Uncharted is a linear story, whilst Mass Effect 2 is a Shooter RPG that will last you wayyyyyyyy  more than 10 hours like Uncharted.

Seriously. Now the world is more expansive, more teammates to choose from and the weapons are so sexy.

First trailer is nothing special, the second one reminded me of Deus Ex' Hong Kong missions, I like it, despite still preferring Deus Ex as from what I can gather from the first trailer, Masse Effect has less RPG bits and less stealth. Anyhow, when my huge backlog will be smaller, Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed series and Fallout 3 are very high on my list.

I played Uncharted 2 for hours and it's very very very linear (you will always know where you need to go, it's more like a movie with puzzles and some action). Unchartad 2 is good game but it's not for me, I just don't like all those "Indiana Jones" actions. The real fact is that we can't compare both games in ANY aspect because they are very different. If you play the game you will see that it's not just an action game like Uncharted 2.

the stuff you did in the first mass effect impacts what happens in this one right? cuz i have like 5 different files where all with different choices i plan on continuin a new file from each on mass effect 2

Yes, and what you did in the first ME impacts what happens in the third game too.
