What people outside europe doesn't understand is the appeal of certain games have in the "old continent", it's not unusual for an american to be somewhat ill informed of the global parameters of Europe.
Yes, it's true that most people in here are waiting for GT5 release, yet, the same can be said for most PS3 gamers in NA as well.
What I don't get is this, why does a game, which did 10M+ in almost all of it's iterations, and even did 15M+ on the PS2, on the early years of the PS2, when it still didn't had those monstrous sales numbers, can't do as well on the PS3?
Are you trying too hard to see ways for GT5 to fail? True, it can fail, as any game can, but it will be very difficult for that scenario to happen. GT5 has the same appeal and expectation that GT3 had, so it can just as well fail or sell on par as GT3 did.
