Local Gamestop employees didn't know this answser.

Q: Xbox 360 Arcade and the bundled pro is out (I saw the Arcade at the store and the bundled pack on Amazon) and I'm planning to purchase another Xbox.

Can I take my HDD and use it on the new Xbox Arcade or Pro? A customer at the shop didn't think it was possible and that I needed to transfer the files.

I just passed 5000 points and I want to keep them.

Can you transfer all your stuff on your old X360's HDD to your new Arcade?

Absolutely.

It's like switching out your RRoD'ed X360 for a new refurb - I kept everything, my tags, saves, demos, ect to my new system from my old HHD.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
