It's not true the PSN is more flexible than XBox Live with regard to how to implement things. Developers just have to do more work on their own creating the experience they want.

Also all PS3 owners just like on a PC can play online games without having to pay extra and subscribe, I think that's a major factor as well.

Many people don't think too highly of the XBox 360 online community, far too many young people using foul language or perform otherwise annoying behaviour.

But Sony has free online and you can make multiple accounts, and i guarantee if Sony packed headsets with PS3 you would hear the voice of the PSN community.

Me and some of my friends got a wireless headset together with Warhawk (all well behaving adults). If that's crucial for them they could bundle this themselves with their games as well.

This isn't really needed though as standard wireless cellphone headsets can be used. If they want to see user created content for their games they could implement that as well, just look at LittleBigPlanet.

IMO they are being dishonest, it would have been better to have said nothing at all.

I got a headset so are my friends in PSN and ppl playing KZ2 online has head sets not all but most I would know cause I actually use PSN and play KZ2....

In hindsight I think the 360 has the most annoying online community of all. A large part of this has to do with Microsoft though as usually many have been repeating their misinformation.

This regards for instance technology discussions, if you would have believed them a game like Uncharted 2 would have been impossible to do on the PS3, this regards Blu-Ray vs HD DVD, if you would have believed them Blu-Ray would have been a dead format by now or for example if you would criticize Microsoft in the past for 360 failures well beyond industry standards you would be mass flamed on (we now know it was all true), etc.

It has cross game chat which PSN is clearly going to get within the next month or so, and cross game invites, but in reality they really don't put XBL head and shoulders above psn in commuity aspects?
