i would say maybe...and maybe on GT5 release...this will move soo much systems in Europe and if its the same release date in US the chance is bigger + maybe another PS3 game soming at the same time in Japan!

also the release of FF XIII in EU and US should be all so over 700+!

PS3 will see very good times the first month of 2010 cause u also got MAG and God Of War 3 and that will bomb in the US!

and lets see what Heavy Rain does for the PS3!

People are dreaming up if they think 1 million PS3 will be sold when GT5 releases in March..

Lets be optimistic and say PS3 stays around 200k/week post holydays...

So mid March it would be selling like 200k in a week.

You're not going to see 800k more PS3 sold in a week because Gt5 releases..

Even if GT5 sold like 4 millions units the first week, that would mean 20% of the people purchasing it purchase a new console and nothing ever close to that has ever happened in this industry...........

The best boosts you can expect outside of a holyday period due to a hyper hyped good title coming out are at best an extra 150k-200k units worlwide in a week and that is considered to be a fantastic success...

PS: over the course of a month very good titles can move more hardware but no title is going to move 800k+ units of hardware in a week...

It depends on whether or not the US goes back to the Xbox or stays with the Ps3 for the holidays. With MW2, the xbox cheaper price and the MW2 bundle most kids might chose a Xbox. If Ps3 can keep the sales momentum above the 360 in US it has a chance to hit 1 mil

One more thing; don't expect HW boosts from MW2. Most people who are fans already have a console/PC to play that game. FF13 on the other hand is not a current gen sequel, nor is GT5.

I see the odds of it hitting 1million in the week ending 19th or 26th of dec at 20-25% right now.
