Some guy? They got Hans Zimmer to compose the music. One of the best composers in the business. Check his resume... The Dark Knight, Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, the Thin Red Line, The Lion King, The Da Vinci Code, and a whole bunch of other movies that he's won a shit load of awards for.

P.S. why would anyone wants custom soundtrack on this game? If you're playing online you might want to listen to whats going on. It helps you a lot in knowing where people are and whats going on. The sound of steps and gunfire and explosions give you so many clues.

Lol i forgot his name

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Consoles owned: Game Cube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3.

My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.

I understand that in multiplayer the in game sounds make sense to listen to, but in killzone 2 i like to play my own music and i still do pretty damn well. just thought it would be nice to have an option.

To be honest, I've NEVER heard a single person ever use any strategy when playing online. This includes 3 days worth of COD online(on MY account, not including countless hours of playing COD online on my brothers' or friends' accounts), probably 10ish hours of U2 online(I've taken a break from the game, including online.. otherwise I'd have much more hours on there), hours of KZ2, and even a few hours of Halo 3. So, you can understand when I say that I couldn't give a shit less about listening to people talk online. I want custom soundtracks.

have we even seen footage of this game running on the PS3 yet?

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Warhawk/KZ2 support it online.

KZ2 could've had it for campaign mode but stupid GG made an excuse about wanting to keep the players immersed in the game...

I wasn't talking about communicating with your teammates. I usually don't even talk myself unless I am playing with friends. But I was referring to the ingame sounds that give you a lot of clues as to what is going on around you. You can hear when grenades are thrown around you but are too far to bring up an indicator, you can hear gunshots and locate where they are coming from, You can hear enemies moving near you, you can get a heads up on airstrikes, and there are a lot of other things that sound can help you with. Other FPS games don't seem to use sound nearly as well as modern Warfare does.

No but how could concentrate while playing. You can't hear the guy online about to kill you with music on.
