I think you misunderstand what this topic is about. This is about the western release of FF XIII, not the Japanese release. FF XIII isn't an exclusive in the west.

first when square-enix said that ff 13 will release after april 2010 there was speculation of after 2010 release then they said that ff13 will release before december 2010 in NA/EU in e3 they said spring 2010 and now before March i think we will be playoing ff13 before April 2010
Seriously, it's becoming WAY too crowded between january and april.
January: MAG, Bayonetta, Army of Two 2, Mass Effect 2
February: Star Ocean 4 (PS3), Bioshock 2, Splinter Cell Conviction
March: God of War 3
Confirmed or possibly for Q1: Lost Planet 2, Dead Rising 2, Gran Turismo 5, White Knight Chronicles and now even Final Fantasy XIII
Like i said, WAY too crowded in Q1 and the beginning of Q2. And i probably even forgot to mention a few other big releases.
if i does come out in march, if i were the developers of White knight chronicles and resonance of fate i would consider pushing ur titles back to get out of FFXIII's shadow. However i believe WKC is screwed regardless b/c of how long that game has taking to release here(it game out back in 2008 in japan for those that dont no) as for ROF, it wouldnt harm them to push there title back a pit. probably the summer months would be best

u missed one Heavy Rain lol. But yea that is a pretty crowded list. a couple of those titles need to be pushed back

Is it really a good idea. I mean FF is great but releasing in the month where probably both GOW 3 and GT5 are coming out. That could cost them a lot of sales.
