* sigh * I need a decent conversation now. Tell me, what do you mean? You must mean for broken consoles. Well, to be fair, if it isn't out of warranty,, they'll take care of it |
lulz, sorry im still just pissed about what happned to my beloved PS3, if they reduced the cost of GT5 then they'd wouldn't have to take my moniez away!

lol i changed the other one because the PS3 issue thing, basiclly it was light = good/happy or whatever... and now i see the clarity of it all... Sony has betrayed me!!
If it wasn't for that i would'uve kept the angelic one for about a good 3 months or so.

Sony hasn't betrayed you Seraphic, don't believe in that :D I went through 4 PS2, all with DRE's and still sony was there for me as well :P Of course, I had the GC and the Dreamcast to hold me through, but that's another story xDDDD

4 or 5 years since first announcement of Gran Turismo 5 and finally being released in 2010. Similar story to Killzone 2 which also took 4 years from being announced and finally released 4 years later in 2009.
Gran Turismo 5 development costs $60 million. Staggering costs involved in producing games - no wonder game studios are going out of business. Only the big named franchises survive. The costs for game development are expected to continue rising over time due to inflation.
A new game sells for $60 on average. Assuming $20 to $30 profit is made from the sale of every game unit sold when the costs involved are deducted. 2 to 3 million copies of Gran Turismo 5 would have be sold to break even.

actually those 150$ are mainly because u pay for the hand work.
any tech would charge 70$ for it, and the part that goes from 60$-90$+ shipping.
same for 360 lens, just part of the 360 it's cheaper since the dvd have more 10 years.

This is Vision GT, the first tech demo for a next gen GT, which in turn lead to the development of GT HD, which wasn't even the GT5 engine, it was just a souped up GT4 engine, and this was released in late 2006/early 2007
