I played it once, I can't say I was impressed

Wiisports is a great idea, it just lacks full motion control. Maybe wii2 will fix it.

 I wasn't sure whether you were meant to do the real life movements, or one especially for the game, because the first did not work. I did a golf swing and the club moved backwards and that was it. I ended up essentially putting it. I'm not sure what I expected, but I didn't really enjoy the experience

bitterness--to be expected

 Can you explain your position more?

I see a game that does not try to pass its self off as perfect motion--that has one abunch of awards and is generaly accepted as fun--when i see people hate on it for no reason it bitterness--you've given a reason to show that you just wated a little more--not that you want it on a differnt machine--your exempt

if your basing your opinion on what is the worse sim game on it your short changing yourself

It may lack full motion control but it'sa big step up from the old and outdated control method the PS3 and Xbox360 uses.

I'll admit the Wii control does not suit every game but if u've played RE4 you have to admit it kick the arse of any tiny little thumb stick other controllers use!

 I mght have have said it wrong but i have not played wii sports or a wii, i am only saying what i have read on the internet in terms of what some people have said about the game.  I also had a wii promotional magazine from a store that talked about the greatness that is the wii-mote and motion control, it sounded as if the wii-mote gave true motion control.  I have no doubt that the wii is a great machine and one of the best inventions in the media world.  It just lacks perfection to reach a larger audience.

I have only seen one wii in the wild and i had no cash on me at the time or i would of bought it.  I think its a great little machine, it just needs to be perfected like any other device.

whats with all the hate?

What hate? I think wii sports is a great idea, i remember playing stuff like it in arcades 10years ago. It just needs to be perfected, once that happens it will sell even more.

 This with that: "People think it is 1:1 motion only to be tricked once they buy it."

@Griffin:

First praising the lovely box and then adding the comments like: "tricked" or "10 years ago" or "lacks perfection to reach larger audience".

Your "benevolence" and "positive" attitude (great little box) does not buy you credibility - you think people here are retarded?

 I have no doubt that the wii-mote is a step up in some games, but as you said it is not for all games.  I can't see it taking over in all systems, the standard dual analog controller is by far better in certain games.  I don't think all people want to come home and wave a wii-mote around in a FPS after working all day.

If you have little kids or have seen them gaming you don't want the wii-mote to be used.  The little guys are already all hyper playing games, you don't want them to mimick shooting a gun or using it as a sword.
