It is understandable though. Most of that 15% probably had their early model 360 go kaput out of warranty (some are outside the 3 year period and some aren't aware that they could induce RRoD if they still have 3 years but experienced a hardware error that was only covered by the standard 1 year warranty). And probably some sold a 360 and their old library for a PS3 to get free online but that is pretty far fetched. Selling your console at a loss and then selling your games at an even bigger loss. That is a lot to go through just to avoid paying $50/year or less.

Even worldwide the difference would be by around 150,000 if we were to assume MW2 sold exactly as MW did.

Well, I would still bet that MW2 is going to be bigger in the x360, Others and US. The AC2 sales, on the other hand, must be bigger in the PS3 in Others. So it´s a matter of how much will be the Gap in the US. This shifting percentage is useless for any analisys, like Kowenick just pointed out.

i own both systems, im at the point where anything to play online im buying on the ps3, i dont want to spend the money on live, its just not worth it to me, plus i do prefer the ps3 controller

Where are you coming up with those numbers? They used percentages. If MW2 sold the same as MW it would look like this.

MW Sales

PS3 - 4.7M

360 - 7.87M

15% of the 360 numbers is 1.181M, 7% of the PS3 numbers is 0.329M

So MW2 numbers would look like this

PS3 - 5.552M

360 - 7.018M

360 still has more but not quite the domination it had the first time around. Plus a bigger difference that the 150K you came up with somehow

Well apparently AC2 has a PS3 exclusive ad campaign. That could be why there's a change with AC2.

But that compaign has not begun yet..
