They should allow things to be configured, but then make it to where they can no longer play in ranked matches with the altered settings. But bitching about this stuff is pointless. Unless their wallets are hurt, I seriously doubt they will worry about any of this. And by the sound of it, their wallets will be hurting, but it will be because they will be bursting with cash.

I just read the chat and it's unbelievable. Seems they had removed a lot of things from the previous version. Seems also they had to rush to make the game, and the price increase is from activision (curse activision !). Saying that the game is not finished is a total blow in the face of all PC gamers. And for a finished game, we will be charged for a DLC.
Excuse me while I go facepalm now.
...And then I'll proceed to be sad for how much they're crippling Modern Warfare 2.
