This is nothing new, there's always going to be something better in the next couple of years etc thats just how it is. Dont let news like this get to you or else you'll never buy anything lol

(when you finally waited and soon get that UHDTV, news of an Extreme UHDTV is soon to come out so you'll wait for that? lol)

As long as there is money to be made there will always be a new TV. But yeah, unless you get a 100"+ resolutions like that are pretty much useless I think, atleast for those that doesn't have super eyesight and can see a pine fall from a 100 mile distant...

What is technicolor!?

The reason it's so blurry is I didn't find the UHD version of it.

either this -

Technicolor was the second major color film process, after Britain's Kinemacolor, and the most widely used color motion picture process in Hollywood from 1922 to 1952. Technicolor became known and celebrated for its hyper-realistic, saturated levels of color, and was used commonly for filming musicals (such as The Wizard of Oz and Singin' in the Rain), costume pictures (such as The Adventures of Robin Hood and Joan of Arc), and animated films (such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Fantasia).

or this -

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

@nordlead

Thanks for the info.

Then I guess the answer to dib8rman is...yes? Or...no? Really, I don't have a clue -_-

Even blue ray couldnt perform 481p on that without using a couple extra disc!

they'll be ready for mass market 5 to 10 years from now, I'm assuming they mean mass market price or at least manufacturing cost, cuz I know they'll cost allot...not matter though by the next 5-10 years I'll be ready for a new Tv anyways, cuz my current 1080p Panasonic set should hopefully last me that 5-10 years, in any case I'm already set for the foreseeable future...I just feel sorry for those that have yet to enjoy HD in general...it's so awesome but then I've always been a videophile XD

@nordlead

I didn't know Matt Damon was so old.

No one really needs that high of a definition unless they're going to have a full-sized theater in their home. I guess it might help out with TV sizes above 52", but very few people are going to buy TV's that big.
