So we are back to 2008.   Yeah, good times!

Just won New Jersey!

Gonna mark this for future reading...

Your man Coffman is going down in NY 23, democrats are about to win a district dems haven't won in over 100 years...

Thank you Sarah Palin for intervening and dividing the republican and coservateive voters :D

Scozafave at at 5% and Hoffman at 46%, while Owens the Democrat is at 49%. 84% of the precincts reporting and Owens has held steady at 49% for the last 20% of precincts reporting or so.

Of course, he can still come back but it will be a very small win if he does in a pure red district.

Granted that is true.  However, NY-23 is only R+1.  This is why primaries are essential.  Machines were broken in the district as well so I don't know what the campaign is going to do about that.  http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/article/20091103/BLOGS09/911039956/BLOGS09 Also Dede got close to 7,000 votes but she dropped out b4 the election.

This may go to a recount.

Nope it won't go to a recount she withdrew too late to get her name pulled and FOX NEWS just called it for Owens before CNN and MSNBC so I think it's over there.

Anyway two smal victories for Reps and one tiny one for Dems next November till the big fireworks.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

You know times are weird when a Republican wins in New Jersey. O_o

Corzine's popularity was like 39% or something, I'm surprised he didn't do worse, early in the race he was behind by 20 something points, but caught up (possibly cause of Obama visits). Obama's job approval there is 61% in NJ.

Regardless, it's still impressive.
