This is no joke, Walmart from the 7-14th will be selling Xbox 360 Arcades for 100$. Now the Wii and PS3 have something to look out for, maybe if we're lucky Walmart will sell 100$ Wiis and 200$ PS3s this month.

Hmm, IDK. I liked it when MS showed the Guitar Hero ads with the Arcade (the one with the little kids and the moms) as that's exactly the type of consumer that'll buy it.

If you're an "hardcore" gamer, I don't think that the arcade is attractive.

No, that's the Xbox 360 Core. They give you a 100$ GC when you buy it and you can use it on the Xbox 360.

No, that's the Xbox 360 Core. They give you a 100$ GC when you buy it and you can use it on the Xbox 360.

I did the gift card deal last year with the PS3, and you can't use it on the X360 as you don't get the gift card until after you purchase the system. So it is still $200, but if you do a lot of shopping at walmart it is the equivilant of $100.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

well, like I said, they only gave out the cards after you paid. Maybe some walmarts do it different. Not that it really matters either, as you need to buy games and stuff, and walmart is usually pretty good with prices. I believe they have had the PS3 controller $5 under what best buy sells it for for a while now. I don't really know about any other products though

Buy the Live kit for $100 and you have a 360 + 12 months Live + 60 Gb HDD for $200...

You can't say that doesn't appeal to a hardcore gamer.
