It appears to be a decent game, with weeks left to go it may end up reaching a solid opening 300k week.

I lol at the people who conveniently believe VGC numbers when it suits them. If you believe other VGC numbers are accurate, you must believe these are too. Could they be off? Maybe, but don't say they are if you don't have any proof. NA is the FPS nation, and an FPS of this magnitude is bound to attract some people, MW2, albeit will be a Godly FPS, is NOT the only one in existence. I personally look forward to enjoying both. I clearly remember, Slimebeast making fun of Numenox (however you spell it) when he said, and I quote "I do not accept these sales!".

come on.. if this game does anything close to 800k, i'll get someone pregnant the next day and start fatherhood with no regrets. 

I'm not suprised by those pre-order numbers, This game has a lot of promise if it gets supported by zipper with patches/DLC in the future which adds more and more to the experience.

I pre-ordered the game in hopes of getting a beta code and I'm not gonna cancel my order after the beta ends. the beta convinced me to get the game.

I got the beta-key for pre-ordering and I've played for 2 weeks now. I'm having a lot of fun playing with a couple of my mates who also pre-ordered. It feels like a battlefield-game but with more players and more detailed maps, even the controls are the same as in battlefield: bad company.

the beta allready feels like a solid fps with
- good controls
- it's very satisfying getting xp for everything you do and customize your equipment and character
- the huge player count just makes the game feel like a real war when you hear explosion and gunfire all around you.

Even though I love the game there still are those who are gonna just cancel their pre-orders because it "doesn't feel like COD or look as good as COD".

This game more than deserves those pre-order numbers IMO.
