Which I did on more than one occasion. Still, if you haven't beaten the game, it does hurt you which really sucks. I tried to put up with it, I really did, but it just pissed me off so bad! That voice is torture!

Her voice was torture all right, I'm just glad the game gave you the humane option to silence her (I may be stretching the definition of humane here).

Characters like Rico just have me foaming at the mouth with the desire to shut them up and the torture is you can't!

^I agree, I've been playing FFX lately and at times what he says and how he says it is weird.

It was also really awkward in MGS4 when Otacon was talking to Naomi and he was crying.
