Yesterday, I was playing team fortress 2 on Ps3 (dustbowl stage 3) and I was doing some serious damage to the other team, I had 44 kills before i died the first time and I end up with 90 points at the end of the game, but i notice the game was lagging madly at some point, most of the time when TF2 lag I use the soldier instead of the demoman but this time I was killing like usual except that the other players from the other team were not able to kill me. I took two direct rocket hit and didn't die ( when that happen usualy it's because your lagging madly) so I knew the other players were lagging more then I did. So it made me wonder if my previous killing sprees (they happen often) were due because of skills or because of lag.

So do you ever wonder when your dominating the entire other team (on any game) if is it because of skill or because you are less laggy then they are?

by the way my previous best for one match was 40 kill before first death and 71 points

Nice lol. OP, sometimes lag is a factor, I have felt it being used in fighting games (SF IV mostly). When the match starts to lag, I saw some fighters resorting to ducking and just pressing low punch alot, since they know that you would be to laggy to have blocked all of them. Or they will basically do some other "cheap" tactic, now that the lag is helping them out and makes it harder to punish them for it.

everybody was lagging but i think I was lagging less then the other because when I lag playing as the demoman I can't manage to get a single kill with the sticky bombs but this time it was different

i know for sure, gears of war is based on who's host, you cant beat host shottty
