Indeed, Sony should so SOMETHING about the thriving piracy on the PS3, I mean, it seems like pretty much everyone these days has a pirated PS3.

Like RageBot alluded to - seems Sony has learned a lot from the PS1,2 and PSP. The PS3 has so far been pretty well bullet proof when it comes to pirates though I did hear a recent rumour about some new mod on the horizon.

Didn't the 360 get hacked pretty well early on in the piece? Not sure.

I hacked my PS2 so it would play region 1 dvd's as it was my only dvd player.
Never got any games as didn't know at the time where to get them from.

The PS2 was easily hacked. You didn't even need to take it apart. There was the Mem card trick and the tray door method.
