Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft expects to have 7 titles sell 1million+ this Christmas

I'm not sure if they're including Bioshock and Halo 3 in those 7 but it's still likely to be more 1 million+ sellers this holiday than either Wii or PS3, possibly more than both combined.  Also based on the other thread about 1 million+ sellers in this forum it looks like they have a good chance of achieving it.

“It’s the games that sell the systems and we feel pretty confident in our games lineup,” he says. “Just this one holiday we anticipate that we’ll have at least seven titles that will each sell over a million units each. I don’t think any other platform will even come close to that, so having the big blockbuster games will definitely continue to help drive system sales for us."

"Those included games and the Arcade pack itself will be bolstered by a new deal with Warner Bros. that will bring 50 high-def Looney Tunes episodes (Microsoft is targeting “well over 100 eventually”) to Xbox Live Marketplace for download"

ut3 wont be out this year on 360, but you can add titles like need for speed prostreet, mass effect, orange box, rockband (maybe) and ace combat 6 to that list of likely ones launching after the likes of halo 3, bioshock and madden.

Some others like fifa or smackdown could also make it.



Note: Some games in my collection are no longer owned, but have owned.

I'm guessing they are including games already released that will make it to a million, not just games released soon selling a million before christmas day.

 I doubt Assassins creed or The orange box will pass a million, on the 360, as they are multiplat
