all of these are reviewd  above 9 in IGN and have very good metacritic scores.

I mean sony has outdone themselves in 09 i think.

what do you think?if you think some other publisher deserves it then which publsiher and for what games???

also let's not forget Sony's handheld efforts.

Yeah, Uncharted 2 is quite possibly the best game I have ever played....

And Killzone 2, inFamous and probably Ratchet are very very very very good

If you are just going by reviews, U2, KZ 2, DS, MLB and WipEout are AAA (on GR, I am pretty sure)

no other publisher this year has that many 90+ games.so that's why sony should be awarded that title.

i don't think that's fair ,,,non of those publisher has as many highly acclaimed games as sony has for 09.

I believe Atlus deserve the award considering how they brought Demon Souls to the West when it was SCEA's job to do so.

Not to mention Devil survivor on the DS, Persona remake, and Kenka Bancho.

When it comes to originality, you really can't beat Atlus.

(if you go by Metacritic then yeah I guess Sony does take the cake on this one)

Eh, I can see why you would say that but personally I would still favour Nintendo - despite this being a weaker year. Certainly in sales Nintendo will dominate and I would also say in cultural impact. In critical acclaim they are about equal though.
