Forums - General - ‘Transformers 2’ Tops Charts, is Top-Selling Title of the Year

It just amazes me that you would go so far as to call TF2 the best movie of the year when you've only seen four movies, and your favorite is terrible.

Hell, I actually enjoyed TF2, but only because I have the ability to enjoy terrible, terrible movies.

Soriku, have you ever considered that you have bad taste in movies?

I'm all for preference, but you just put Star Trek on the same level as Wolverine. What the ****?

Which one did you think was better between Star Trek and Wolverine? I'm guessing Star Trek?

Star Trek I knew nothing about, my uncle took us since he likes it. I liked it enough to put it up with Wolverine which I also liked. Plus I was already familiar with Xmen.

Star Trek was far superior. I'm actually fairly familiar with X-Men (enough to get angry when Juggernaut was portrayed as a random British guy and not Xavier's step-brother), but I haven't ever seen a single episode of Star Trek or any of the previous movies. Yet, I still vastly preferred the Star Trek movie. It was a really exciting and competent action film, Wolverine was not.

And if you think Transformers 2 had good characters and funny scenes, then shame on you.

WHO MENTIONED X-3 IN HERE

RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE

TF2 was vastly inferior to Star Trek or even Wolverine (which at least had some semblance of being more than explosions).

Of course, there were still better summer movies like D9 or Inglorious Basterds.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

soriku has bad taste in movies CONFIRMED!

Megan Fox is hot, but not hot enough to make TF2 the best movie of the year!

Amazing. After DVD took pretty bad hit(s) in 2008, we're having an up year, it seems.

However, it's not the top selling DVD of 2009. Twilight is. Its sold 9.1 million so far this year.

Looks like they still need to work on getting preteen and teenage girls to shift from DVD to Blu-Ray.

Note - for those who like Freudian slips, I first wrote "Looks like Blu-Ray penetratoin of teenage girls is rather weak" then caught it before posting!

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

This.

Wolverine is horrible. I can't decide which one is worse, Wolverine or TF2. However, I think I would put X3 above both of them.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Reasonable, you douche! Now I won't be able to watch a movie on blu-ray without having a picture in my head of a disc committing statutory rape! How dare you!

Back on Topic: You're all bashing TF:RotF as if it's the worst movie of all time, when in actuality it's a pretty decent popcorn flick, possibly better than the original Transformers live-action movie...

Here's what the equation should look like as far as I'm concerned:

UP=District 9=Star Trek?>Harry Potter 6>Transformers 2>Wolverine

Thank you for your attention...

I loved XM3 and I'm not afraid to admit it. Best XM movie! Although Jean and Cyclops dying was pretty retarded (moreso Cyclops than Jean. Jean's death was pretty cool and fitting.)

Soriku you just keep digging this hole deeper and deeper
