This issue in Australia is not that simple. We don't have an R (18+) rating for games. It means that any game that rates above 15+ can't be stocked on a store shelf and this is a virtual death for any game that might get released in the country. The only alternative in order to get the game released is for developers to self-censor the game and submit it for re-rating. Even if this isn't done you can still get the games online (even Australian sites) and it's not illegal to do so.
So in the end if you really want a game you can always get it, BUT it is pathetic and stupid that some people think they have the right to decide what other adults play and watch.
