WoW so all 3 are indicating 30k for ps3 this week but VGC has ps3 24k?...wierd.

Uh... 20k is a single digit percentage decline like bluthunder said.  A bit more than 6%.  You have the calculator app on your computer?

Is it really such important? 5k less or more, for me Japan PS3 sales are one big disappointment (from the launch of PS3).

I expected to sell min. 50 k each week (and some hundreds with some big titles, Christmas, etc.), however the reality is far more worse (only few weeks with exceptional sales numbers, rest is about 10 k and even less...)

Big disappointment for me... ((

No all that other stuff is crap, if the marker considers a game good, then it will sell, if not then it won't, the highest selling 2D mario's were on consoles, so the idea that NSMB Wii can't outsell the DS version due to demographics and suitability is stupid, if it doesn't outsell the DS version, then it'll be because the market didn't consider it as good at the DS version

Most likely NSMBWii can't outsell NSMB DS because all Mario fans in Japan are now on DS and many of them don't even have Wii. It is almost impossible for Wii version to outsell DS version in Japan (NSMBWii would have to sell 6 million copies in Japan and right now there are only 8.7 million Wiis). For example Mario Kart Wii haven't sold even nearly as much as Mario Kart DS in Japan although it has outsold it elsewhere.
